Hãy tưởng tượng một nước Mỹ bị chiếm đóng

Cứ tưởng tượng trong một lúc nào đó tại một nơi nào nớ ở giữa Texas có một căn cứ lớn quân sự ngoại bang, nói giả như là của Tầu hay của Nga chẳng hạn. Hãy mường tượng rằng hàng ngàn đám quân đội ngoại bang này thường xuyên hành quân tuần tiễu trên những con phố của Mỹ trong những chiếc quân xa. Tưởng tượng rằng đám quân này đến nước Mỹ dưới chiêu bài “Giữ An Toàn cho Chúng ta” hoặc là để “Xiển Dương Dân Chủ” hoặc là “Bảo Vệ Lợi Ích Chiến Lược” của họ.

Và đám quân ngoại bang này hoạt động không theo pháp luật Mỹ, và Hiến Pháp Mỹ cũng không có quyền hạn gì với họ. Rồi cứ thường xuyên bọn quân đội này vi phạm những lầm lẫn hay là do thiếu thông tin và rồi vô tình giết hại hoặc là khủng bố những ngưòi Mỹ vô tội, gồm đàn bà và con trẻ, rồi hầu hết là đám quân này chẳng chịu trách nhiệm hay hậu quả gì về những vụ việc này hết. Rồi tưởng tượng xem đám quân ngoại bang này lập ra những trạm kiểm soát trên lãnh thổ Mỹ của chúng ta và thường ngày lùng soát tất cả nhà cửa dân cư. Và tưởng tượng xem nếu như ngưòi Mỹ chúng ta hãi sợ đám quân đội ngoại bang này và đại đa số đều nghĩ nưóc Mỹ sẽ tốt hơn nếu như không có sự hiện diện của chúng nó ở đây nữa.

Và tưởng tượng xem, nếu như một số ngưòi Mỹ quá phẫn nộ với sự hiện diện của chúng nó ở Texas đến nỗi họ tụ tập nhau lại và chiến đấu đánh đuổi đám quân ngoại bang này đi để bảo vệ lãnh thổ và chủ quyền của chúng ta, bởi vì giới lãnh đạo trong chính phủ chúng ta từ chối hoặc là không thể hành động tương tự như vậy. Và nghĩ xem những ngưòi Mỹ chiến đấu đó sẽ bị gán cho là khủng bố hay phiến quân vì hành động tự vệ và bảo vệ đất nưóc của mình. Rồi thường ngày họ (kháng chiến Mỹ) bị bọn lính ngoại bang giết hay là bị bắt và bị tra tấn ngay trên lãnh thổ Mỹ của chúng ta. Hãy nghĩ tiếp thử xem thái độ của bọn ngoại bang chiếm đóng này cho rằng nếu như chúng nó giết nhiều ngưòi Mỹ đủ để cho ý chí kháng chiến tiêu tan, nhưng ngược lại, cứ mỗi một ngưòi Mỹ bị giết, thì có 10 người Mỹ đứng lên cầm súng chống lại bọn lính ngoại bang này, kết quả là máu đổ liên tục không ngừng. Rồi hãy nghĩ thử xem, nếu như hầu hết công dân của các nưóc ngoài đều muốn đám lính này cút về nưóc họ. Và tưởng tưọng xem nếu lãnh đạo dân cử của đám lính ngoại bang này hứa là sẽ đem họ về nhà để chấm dứt thảm trạng này.

Rồi tuởng tượng xem kẻ lãnh đạo đó đã đổi ý không giữ lời hứa sau khi đắc cử nắm quyền.

Trong thực tại, sự hiện diện của quân đội Mỹ chúng ta nơi nưóc ngoài là sự xúc phạm đối với những dân tộc ở đó, cũng giống như quân Tầu xúc phạm chúng ta nếu như chúng đóng quân ở Texas. Chúng ta không chấp nhận điều đó xảy ra ở nưóc Mỹ này, nhưng chúng ta thực hiện một đế quốc phủ bước toàn cầu với ngay một chính sách xen xía ngoại giao can thiệp nội bộ trong hàng mấy thập niên qua, điều này đã tạo nên nhiều căm thù và oán ghét của họ đến với ngưòi Mỹ chúng ta.

Theo chính thông tin CIA của chúng ta cho biết, chính những việc nhũng loạn của chúng ta tại Trung Đông là động lực chính của việc tấn công kinh hoàng 911. Nhưng thay vì phải định giá lại chính sách đối ngoại của chúng ta, chúng ta vẫn chỉ đơn thuần là gia tăng chính sách này. Chúng ta có quyền truy lùng những kẻ chủ mưu vụ 911, để cho chắc chắn, nhưng tại sao rất nhiều ngưòi Mỹ lại cảm tưởng rằng chúng ta có quyền đóng quân trên 160 quốc gia khi mà chính chúng ta không muốn dù chỉ một căn cứ ngoại bang trên lãnh thổ chúng ta, cho dù vì bất cứ lý do gì? Những căn cứ Mỹ này, xin nhắc nhở rằng, không phải là những tòa đại sứ, mà chúng nó là những căn cứ trang bị quân sự. Chính phủ mới (Obama) chẳng có thay đổi tí gì một cách thực tế về điều này hết. Hoán chuyển quân số với lối chơi chữ chẳng đạt được những mục tiêu của quần chúng Mỹ, quần chúng chỉ đơn giản muốn quân ta về nhà. Năm chục ngàn lính Mỹ để lại Iraq chẳng đem lại tí hoà bình nào hơn là 50 ngàn lính Nga nếu như họ để lại ở nưóc Mỹ chúng ta.

Đóng cửa các căn cứ quân sự Mỹ và ngưng việc dùng bạo lực và hăm dọa trong bang giao với các quốc gia khác không phải là theo chủ nghĩa cô lập. Mà ngược lại nữa là khác. Imagine an Occupied America

Imagine for a moment that somewhere in the middle of Texas there was a large foreign military base, say Chinese or Russian. Imagine that thousands of armed foreign troops were constantly patrolling American streets in military vehicles. Imagine they were here under the auspices of "keeping us safe" or "promoting democracy" or "protecting their strategic interests."

Imagine that they operated outside of U.S. law, and that the Constitution did not apply to them. Imagine that every now and then they made mistakes or acted on bad information and accidentally killed or terrorized innocent Americans, including women and children, most of the time with little to no repercussions or consequences. Imagine that they set up checkpoints on our soil and routinely searched and ransacked entire neighborhoods of homes. Imagine if Americans were fearful of these foreign troops and overwhelmingly thought America would be better off without their presence.

Imagine if some Americans were so angry about them being in Texas that they actually joined together to fight them off, in defense of our soil and sovereignty, because leadership in government refused or were unable to do so. Imagine that those Americans were labeled terrorists or insurgents for their defensive actions, and routinely killed or captured and tortured by the foreign troops on our land. Imagine that the occupiers' attitude was that if they just killed enough Americans, the resistance would stop, but instead, for every American killed, 10 more would take up arms against them, resulting in perpetual bloodshed. Imagine if most of the citizens of the foreign land also wanted these troops to return home. Imagine if they elected a leader who promised to bring them home and put an end to this horror.

Imagine if that leader changed his mind once he took office.

The reality is that our military presence on foreign soil is as offensive to the people that live there as armed Chinese troops would be if they were stationed in Texas. We would not stand for it here, but we have had a globe-straddling empire and a very intrusive foreign policy for decades that incites a lot of hatred and resentment toward us.

According to our own CIA, our meddling in the Middle East was the prime motivation for the horrific attacks on 9/11. But instead of reevaluating our foreign policy, we have simply escalated it. We had a right to go after those responsible for 9/11, to be sure, but why do so many Americans feel as if we have a right to a military presence in some 160 countries when we wouldn't stand for even one foreign base on our soil, for any reason? These are not embassies, mind you, these are military installations. The new administration is not materially changing anything about this. Shuffling troops around and playing with semantics does not accomplish the goals of the American people, who simply want our men and women to come home. Fifty thousand troops left behind in Iraq is not conducive to peace any more than 50,000 Russian soldiers would be in the United States.

Shutting down military bases and ceasing to deal with other nations with threats and violence is not isolationism. It is the opposite. Opening ourselves up to friendship, honest trade, and diplomacy is the foreign policy of peace and prosperity. It is the only foreign policy that will not bankrupt us in short order, as our current actions most definitely will. I share the disappointment of the American people in the foreign policy rhetoric coming from the administration. The sad thing is, our foreign policy will change eventually, as Rome's did, when all budgetary and monetary tricks to fund it are exhausted.

Edward Snowden: Solar-Flare ‘Killshot’ Cataclysm Imminent

MOSCOW, Russia – Edward Snowden, hacker-fugitive and former National Security Agency (NSA) contractor, revealed Tuesday that a series of solar flares is set to occur in September, killing hundreds of millions of people. Documents provided by Snowden prove that, as of 14 years ago, Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) remote viewers knew that the event was inevitable. Ever since, the world’s governments have quietly been trying to prepare for the sweeping global famine to result.

Speaking from his room at Sheremetyevo Airport’s Hotel Novotel, Snowden revealed that government preparations for September’s catastrophic solar flares have been “to only limited avail.” The flares’ results, he said, are known casually throughout the global intelligence community as “the killshot.”

Remote viewers employed by the CIA’s Project Stargate use their ability to perceive geographically and chronologically distant events to protect America. Since 1999 they have known about the solar-flare event but have been threatened into silence by enforcers on the secret government’s payroll.

As a part of hiring Snowden as a contractor, the NSA granted the 30-year-old access to all communications on earth. Now he has provided The Internet Chronicle with top-secret Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) documents outlining just how terrible the solar flares’ results will be. In just two months, “the killshot” is set to disable all electronic food and water delivery systems.

Ever since the late 20th century, hundreds of millions of people have begun to rely on technological automation to enable their very lives. Solar flares release electromagnetic pulses, hazardous to electronic circuits. The smallest electronic circuits, such as those in computers’ central processing units, will be the most vulnerable.

Snowden said FEMA and the National Disaster Reduction Center of China have been taking steps for 14 years in light of the findings of Project Stargate. FEMA’s own documents, provided by Snowden, lay out how the organization plans to round up tens of millions of the poorest Americans for housing at secure locations “to better facilitate feeding and provision of consumer goods.”

Snowden, for years a CIA contractor, released testimonials from hundreds of remote viewers. Many of those remote viewers are still on the payroll of the governments of the United States and the Russian Federation. Those testimonials, though written independently by the analysts, are comprised of 4,472 pages, every single one of which, alarmingly, evince Snowden’s account.

“The massive electromagnetic pulse from the solar flares, or ‘the killshot,’ will shutter most of the world’s electrical systems,” said Snowden. “The Americans whose lives are most at risk are the elderly and the infirmed, those who depend on technology to enable their receiving home care or life-sustaining medical treatment.”

Throughout the 1970s and the 1990s, Russia and the United States were desperate to track and monitor the construction and maintenance of each other’s nuclear silos. The nations’ governments openly admitted having poured billions of dollars into the training of elite teams of remote viewers. With their powers, the remote viewers were able to deter nuclear launches and, ultimately, bring an end to the Cold War. In the mid-’90s, the CIA simply pretended to close its remote-viewing program, so that it could operate more effectively.

Snowden said he hopes that his coming forward will allow Project Stargate’s participants to be able to live normal, open lives again, “instead of as circus animals, instead of as freaks.” He added, “[Significant others of Project Stargate employees] have to get Q clearances just to cohabitate with, without even marrying, their loved ones. That’s tantamount to slavery.”

Humanity is about to pay a most dire price for its technological dependence. That price, said Snowden, proved a leading factor in his decision to come forward to the press – about both the global Holocaust to ensue, as well as NSA analysts’ power, on the slightest whim, to listen to the phone calls of any person on earth.

Snowden said, with regard to CIA remote viewers, “I have seen too many brave whistleblowers become subjects of smear and ridicule for using their talents to expose the truth.” Added Snowden, bitterly, “Well, we’ll see who’s Mr. Chuckles when ‘the killshot’ goes down.”

WikiLeaks attorneys; and Anatoly Kucherena, Snowden’s own counsel, together produced a video calling for calm and global preparedness. Monday, Snowden sent the video, below, to the Russian Federal Migration Service as part of his call for asylum.

Trớ trêu thay, những đất nước như Nhật Bản và Hà Lan lại là những đất nước an toàn nhất thế giới trong khi TÌNH DỤC ở những nước có điều luật nghiêm ngặt như Trung Đông lại trở thành tâm điểm của bọn khủng bố. 

TÌNH DỤC giống như đi ngủ và đi vệ sinh. Đó là bản năng của con người. Hãy nói về TÌNH DỤC như nói đến một món ăn ngon.

Những ngộ nhận lầm tưởng về cần sa

Hôm nay tôi muốn thay đổi không khí nên sẽ nói về cần sa và những điều có thể bạn chưa biết hay vẫn thường lầm tưởng. Tôi sẽ cố gắng tập hợp tất cả những dữ liệu có cơ sở nhất để trình bày trong bài viết này. Thử dạo một vòng trên Google đọc các bài viết nói về cần sa ở các trang Việt Nam tôi thấy đa số các bài viết đều không có trích dẫn, căn cứ nguồn gốc xác minh cụ thể nào, một yếu tố tối cần thiết khi viết một bài research, và chỉ cần đọc một hai câu trong đó là thấy không đúng sự thật rồi. Ngay cả trang của những bác sĩ Việt Nam cũng không khác. Wiki Việt Nam thì lèo tèo vài ba câu thông tin. Quá thất vọng nên tôi quyết định là sẽ làm cái mà cả đất nước Việt Nam chưa có ai làm.

Trong tiếng Anh thì chữ drug, danh từ, thường được dịch sang tiếng Việt là “thuốc”. Một danh từ quá chung chung trong ngôn ngữ để nói về tất cả các loại thuốc khác nhau, tích cực lẫn tiêu cực. Đó cũng là ý của McKenna muốn nói ở đây. Chúng ta cần phải hiểu rõ ngay là tất cả mọi loại thuốc bản chất của nó chỉ như những công cụ, không hơn không kém. Mọi công cụ đều có hai mặt như một chân lý thường tình hiển nhiên trong đời. Câu hỏi không phải là công cụ đó như thế nào, mà là cách người ta sử dụng công cụ đó như thế nào. Tiền bạc cũng là một công cụ. Internet, công nghệ, kĩ thuật, kiến thức, sách vở, văn chương, nghệ thuật, truyền thông, chính trị, kinh tế, tôn giáo, triết lý …. tất cả mọi thứ trên đời này đều là những công cụ. Nếu đã xác định được như vậy thì câu hỏi tiếp theo sẽ là chúng ta làm chủ các công cụ đó, hay nó làm chủ chúng ta? Chúng ta tôn nó lên bàn thờ hay chúng ta đặt nó dưới chân làm những bậc thang?

Biết thì sống.” Muốn viết chi tiết về cần sa thì tôi nghĩ cũng tốn khoảng ít nhất vài trục trang giấy, nhưng có lẽ là ở cái thời đại sống nhanh sống vội này không ai có đủ thời gian để đọc một lần mấy chục trang, nên tôi sẽ chia ra thành nhiều bài, viết và đăng lên dần dần. Khỏe cho tôi và cũng khỏe cho bạn ;)

Ngoài những tác dụng phụ ngắn hạn nhiều người có thể biết được kể trên, vẫn chưa có được một nghiên cứu y khoa được chính thức công nhận nào cho thấy ảnh hưởng dài hạn của cần sa, đặc biệt là những người sử dụng nó lâu dài. Đề tài này vẫn luôn là một vấn đề được nhiều người tham gia tranh luận lâu nay nhưng kết quả của cuộc tranh luận đó vẫn còn chưa ngã ngũ.

Lịch sử về cần sa

Trung Hoa và Đài Loan

Trong tiếng Trung, chữ cần sa được viết là 大麻, tiếng Việt phiên âm đọc như “tài mà”. Cây tài mà (hay gai dầu) đã được dùng tại Đài Loan để lấy sợi từ khoảng 10000 năm trước [5]. Nhà thực vật học Li Hui-Lin đã viết, tại Trung Hoa “Việc sử dụng cần sa để làm thuốc đã có một giai đoạn phát triển từ rất sớm. Vì loài người xa xưa đã biết dùng hạt cây gai dầu làm thức ăn, việc họ phát hiện ra những tính chất y dược của nó là hoàn toàn bình thường, tự nhiên.” [6]

Cuốn y thư cổ xưa nhất trong y học Trung Hoa còn được truyền lại tới ngày nay vì không biết tiếng Trung nên tôi tạm dịch theo tiếng Anh là Thần Nông Y Thư Kinh Điển (Shennong Bencaojing 神農本草經 (“Shennong’s Materia Medica Classic”)) cũng đã có vài dòng mô tả cây cần sa, cách trồng, và đặc tính của từng bộ phận của cây. Thần y Hoa Đà (140-208) [7] một vị lương y nổi tiếng thời Đông Hán trong lịch sử Trung Hoa và được xem là một trong những ông tổ của Đông Y, đã được ghi nhận là người đầu tiên biết sử dụng cần sa để làm chất gây mê (anesthetic) [7]. Ông đã thực hiện nhiều ca phẫu thuật với sự trợ giúp của gai dầu Ấn Độ. Thuật ngữ “chất gây mê” trong tiếng Trung được viết là 麻醉, và được người Việt phiên âm đọc là “ma túy”. Chữ “ma” trong “tài mà” (gai dầu, hemp); và “túy” như “túy lúy”, “túy quyền”.

Ngày nay chữ “ma túy” đã bị biến tướng, biến dị, không còn đúng như ý nghĩa nguồn gốc của nó nữa. Người ta dùng nó để gom hết đũa vào một nắm, y như câu nói của McKenna ở trên. Chữ ma túy ngày nay chỉ được hiểu theo một nghĩa duy nhất, chất gây nghiện. Cần sa có gây nghiện không? Đọc tiếp để biết.

Elizabeth Wayland Barber (một tác giả người Mỹ, chuyên gia về vải, giáo sư đã về hưu ngành khảo cổ học và ngôn ngữ tại occidental College. Tốt nghiệp cử nhân khảo cổ học tại Bryn Mawr College và tốt nghiệp tiến sĩ ngôn ngữ học tại Yale University) đã nói rằng các bằng chứng về việc sử dụng cần sa tại Trung Hoa đã chứng minh họ đã có được một kiến thức về các đặc tính của cần sa ít nhất là 1000 năm trước công nguyên, khi từ 麻 (“ma”) đã được sử dụng với cái nghĩa phụ của nó là “tê”, “mê”.“Một loại thuốc rất mạnh, tuy nhiên, đã gợi ý rằng các y sĩ Trung Hoa đã sử dụng tới loại cần sa có tên khoa học là Cannabis Sativa, chứ không phải Cannabis Indica, mạnh đến nỗi nó sẽ khiến bạn mê man bất tỉnh.” [8]

Cần sa là một trong 50 dược thảo cơ bản trong y học Trung Hoa truyền thống [9]. Nó được thầy y kê đơn để trị nhiều loại bệnh khác nhau.

Tất cả mọi bộ phận trong cây gai dầu đều được sử dụng để làm thuốc: những bông hoa đã được phơi khô (勃), hạt (achenia) (蕡), nhân (麻仁), dầu (麻油), lá, cuống, rễ, và nước (juice). Hoa được khuyến khích dùng trong việc điều trị 120 loại bệnh khác nhau, các chứng rối loạn kinh nguyệt, và những vết thương. Tuy hạt có chứa độc tố, nhưng nó khả năng kích thích hệ thần kinh, và nếu dùng quá liều sẽ gây ra ảo giác và chao đảo. Nó được chỉ định cho các chứng bệnh rối loạn thần kinh, đặc biệt là được dùng làm chất gây mê khoanh vùng (local anaesthesia). Nhân, lõi màu trắng của hạt, được dùng cho khá nhiều trường hợp khác nhau, và được xem như thuốc bổ, thuốc giảm đau (demulcent), phục hồi chức năng (alterative), nhuận tràng (laxative), điều kinh (emmenagogue), lợi tiểu (diuretic), chống giun sán (anthelmintic), chất điều hòa (corrective). Chúng được sắc thành từng thang thuốc, trộn với rượu, vo thành viên, và đập dẹp. Một cách rất thông dụng khác để hấp thụ là đơn giản chỉ cần nuốt trực tiếp cái nhân đó. Người ta nói rằng những ai tiêu thụ thường xuyên thì da dẻ của họ sẽ săn chắc hơn và ít nếp nhăn. Nó còn được dùng để trị nội thương những ca tiêu chảy, băng huyết, giai đoạn hậu sản, ngộ độc củ ấu tàu, ngộ độc thần sa (vermilion), táo bón, và nôn mửa không ngừng. Nó còn được dùng để trị các bệnh ngoài da như đau răng, mọc răng, lở loét, bệnh chốc đầu (favus), trày xước, rụng tóc. Dầu cần sa cũng có thể trị rụng tóc, ngộ độc lưu huỳnh, khô cổ họng. Lá cần sa được xem là có độc, tuy nhiên khi được ép thành nước thì thứ nước đó sẽ được dùng để trị giun sán, bọ cạp chích, rụng tóc, và chống bạc. Đặc biệt, nó còn được biết đến với khả năng ngăn ngừa những căn bệnh có tính tái phát. Cuống, hay vỏ cây được xem như có thể giúp lợi tiểu, và được kết hợp với những loại thuốc khác để trị sỏi thận. Nước ép từ rễ cũng được dùng trong các mục đích tương tự, và có nhiều ích lợi trong việc bảo vệ cuống nhau và tình trạng xuất huyết hậu sản. Ngoài ra người ta còn cất sắc cần sa để làm thành một thứ nước giảm đau, giải khát và ngăn tiêu chảy, xuất huyết. [10]

Cần sa có gây nghiện không?

Tiến sĩ Jack E. Henningfield của NIDA, Hoa Kỳ (National Institute on Drug Abuse – Viện Phòng Chống Lạm Dụng Thuốc Quốc Gia) đã xếp hạng mức độ gây nghiện của 6 loại chất từ mạnh nhất tới thấp nhất. Cần sa được xếp hạng thấp nhất, thấp hơn cả chất caffeine có trong cà phê, thấp hơn cả rượu bia. Danh sách đó như sau: [11] 1. Nicotin 2. Heroin 3. Rượu bia 4. Cocaine 5. Caffeine 6. Cần sa
